A Night Away

First off...thank you, thank you, thank you to Jed and Laura for being awesome enough to watch our kids and sorry, sorry, sorry they kept you up all night. We owe ya!

So, what to do with no kids? Explore the city? Shopping? Hit a museum or two? Go dancing? See a movie? An awesome restaurant? Nah.

How about going to a hotel and just crashing? Ordering up room service so you don't have to go out and drive around a busy city? And ordering a movie to watch from the comfort of a king size bed with enough fluffy pillows to keep a woman who feels like a beached whale nice and comfy and still have some left over for the hubby? Not to mention an awesome flat screen TV with more than 3 channels so you could watch some of the March Madness games? A shower in the morning with no little people shoving fingers under the door and yelling that you're taking too long? A made to order breakfast? Mmm.

Heavenly. Divine. Saver of sanity. I could use quite a few more nights like that...but that one will hold me over for now.

That sounds insanely wonderful! I so want to do that! I think my hubby would LOVE just staying in the hotel and not being dragged to every place under the moon, like I am apt to do.
