Pedro flies out. Yay! Everybody was so happy to see him. We spent 2 or 3 more days in Ogden. Then packed up our van and headed up to the Boise area to spend a week with Pedro's sister, Gaby.
The kids played so awesome together. Eric and Cade are only 2 or 3 weeks apart in age and they hit it off. Within an hour they were best buddies. Brianna and Sophia are 2 weeks apart in age and so they were very intrigued with one another.
One afternoon we spent at Settler's Park playing our hearts out and eating snow cones. We need a park like that here in Arky. So many toys and the splash pad right there too.
Another afternoon we went to the rec center in Nampa to play with my brother and his kids. We ended up going swimming. What a great way to tire out kiddos.
Yet another day we went up to Emmett to see another of Pedro's sisters, Laura, and her family. We all went to a nearby lake and had a cook out there. Sand castles, frisbee and football. Hot dogs and chocolate cake. It was a great way to spend the day.
I got to have a girl's night with Gaby. We went out shopping to find clothes to do pictures of the kids in. She's got a real artistic eye.
I have the cutest nieces and nephews. Not to mention, awesome in-laws. Love you guys!
