That's what Eric said when we showed him the pumpkin guts and told him what he was supposed to do with them.
He sat on the sidelines with me.
Pumpkin guts are just gross.
He drew a face on his pumpkin.
I carved one that Pedro gutted.
And that's how my son and I roll.

and I have always loved the part of pulling out the pumpkin guts. I always squeeze them a little to let them run between my fingers. It reminds me of squishing mud between my toes. Funny how some people hate that and other people love it.
