Too much for a title

So much has been going on since my last post. Sad thing is I've probably forgotten most of it.

Anywho, my mom came for 3 weeks. And my sister, Jenn, came for 1 week. My kids loved all the extra attention.

The first week was full of shopping shopping shopping and...more shopping!

The second week was refinishing my dresser.

The third week was gardening.

I can't believe how busy my mom is and how busy I was when she was here. It was good busy and luckily I found a vitamin that actually gives me plenty of energy to do more than just the bare minimum.

So, here's the tidbits:

1. Refinished my dresser. It was an old drab brown with scratches and hideous gold hardware. It is now a wonderful black color with nice silver hardware. Picture to come soon.

2. Dug out the yucky rabbit grass out front and planted some hostas in their place. Also planted some pretty red perennials and some mammoth elephant ears out front.

3. Went to Branson for a day. We went through Hannah's maze of mirrors and then went to see the Chinese Acrobats. We all got a little carsick from the ride up and back.

4. Shopping! Lots of trips to Gordmans, B LaRue, the Promenade and Oops. Found some cute pictures and flowers for my bedroom. And a lamp for my living room--at Family Dollar! That's got to be my new favorite store.

5. We went up to the Glass Chapel. Beautiful place. And if you go and happen to notice a red balloon up in the rafters, it was Eric's.

6. Lots of walks and jumping on the trampoline and trips to the park. And a couple of trips up to the school to have lunch with Annaleise.

7. Bought a new car to replace the old Tracer. Car shopping without kids is definitely better than with. Hello Suzuki SX4. Pictures to come later.

8. Bri's expanding vocabulary. Now including "You my baby" "Gimme" "C'mere"\
Bri's expanding smile: 4 new teeth are making their way in--sorry about the
lack of sleep mom :)

9. Can't think of much else off the top of my head, so here's some pictures

Actually that's a pretty good title :) Three weeks with your mom and a week with your sister- I'm jealous! Sounds like a whirlwind of fun!
